Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE — fill in before publishing]
These terms govern your use of Voice Postcard (“the Service”), operated by [Legal business name / your name — fill in], contactable at rahul.gundawar1234@gmail.com. By recording a message and paying for delivery, you agree to these terms.
1. What the Service does
Voice Postcard lets you record a voice or video message, choose a future delivery date, and pay a one-time fee to have that message emailed to a recipient you specify on that date. No account is required. The Service does not review message content before it is scheduled.
2. Payment
Prices are shown in EUR at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details ourselves. Payment is taken at the time you schedule a message, not on the delivery date.
3. Your responsibility for content
You are solely responsible for what you record and send. You may not use the Service to send content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, and refund an order if we become aware it violates this.
4. Delivery
We make a reasonable effort to deliver your message by email on the date you selected. Delivery depends on factors outside our control, including the recipient’s email provider, spam filtering, and whether the recipient address you provided is correct and still active. We are not liable for a message that fails to reach its recipient due to an incorrect address or the recipient’s email settings.
5. Changing or cancelling a scheduled message
The Service does not currently offer a way to edit a message, recipient, or delivery date after payment. If you need to cancel before the delivery date, see our Refund Policy.
6. Ownership of what you send
You retain ownership of any recording you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit that recording solely for the purpose of delivering it to your chosen recipient on your chosen date.
7. Data retention
We keep your recording and message details until the message has been delivered, and for a limited period afterward to handle support requests, after which they may be deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. No warranty, limited liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific message in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including the emotional or personal significance of a message that is delayed or undelivered.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country/state — fill in].
