This explains what personal data Voice Postcard collects, why, and who it is shared with. Voice Postcard is operated by [Legal business name / your name — fill in], contactable at rahul.gundawar1234@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
When you use the Service, we collect:
- Your name and email address (as the sender).
- The recipient’s name and email address, as you provide them.
- The voice or video recording you create, and any short note you write.
- The delivery date you choose.
- Payment confirmation from Stripe (we receive confirmation that you paid, we do not receive or store your card number).
We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies on this site.
2. Why we collect it
Solely to schedule and deliver your message: to send a confirmation email, to email the recipient on your chosen date, and to process your payment. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Voice Postcard, each only for its specific purpose:
- Stripe — processes payment. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we don’t.
- Resend — sends the confirmation and delivery emails on our behalf.
- Supabase — hosts our database and stores the recording file, in an EU data center.
We do not share your data with anyone else, and never for marketing purposes.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your recording and message details until the message has been delivered, plus a limited period afterward in case of a support request or dispute, after which we delete them. If you cancel before delivery, we delete the recording promptly.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or the data of a recipient you added, at any time before a message is delivered. Email rahul.gundawar1234@gmail.com with your request. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
6. Children
The Service is not intended for children to purchase or use directly. Children may be the subject or recipient of a message sent by an adult.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
